Some organizations focus specifically on educational equity, while others work in areas of immigration, intercultural engagement, and other important topics of advocacy.

The Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) is a reputable assessment tool for building cultural competence within an organization. From schools to corporations, the IDI is used across sectors to move teams along the continuum from a monocultural to an intercultural mindset. Minnesota has many trained “Qualified Administrators” of the IDI who can come into an organization to administer the inventory and consult on the findings to provide a helpful structure for engagement.

Many of the organizations listed above have IDI-trained staff.
